Barbie
This movie is actually something special.
This movie was made near perfectly. It had a TON of things to say about society and our world. But what I think was so well done was they never shoved the agenda down your throat.
Now I’m a dude so I don’t resonate completely with everything they said about women in todays society. But I understood the messages and appreciated them and it made me respect women in my life even more.
But man did they rly nail all the kens in the this movie. They nailed how (me) and a lot of men behave. And not In a bad way I must say they pushed the points of showing “toxic masculinity” but I think what they were saying was all valid and not a complete disrespect to all men. I’m rly glad they handled the kens the way they did and I think they were portrayed perfectly as modern men alongside the Barbie’s as modern women.
And I have to add Ryan goslings performance.🐐.But specifically at the end when he had to learn who he was without Barbie. They made this scene sorta funny but I think what ken was talking about was so real and so deep.
