Mulholland Drive
I think David Lynch films are what I have been looking for my entire life.
After watching this with no prior knowledge and spending some time reading reviews and watching explanation videos after I have realized how incredible this is. I was so utterly confused but I knew I liked what was going on, I was beyond intrigued. I was gasping and waiting to see what was happening and just trying to piece it together myself, unfortunately I couldn’t and I needed some help but after reading what other people think, holy shit. I can’t wait to watch this again so that I can understand it so much better. I can’t even explain what I feel at the moment, it’s just impressed I guess. I’m impressed Lynch was able to tell such a complex messy story in a beautiful way. Amazing acting and insane visuals that make me cringe. I got a feeling for what kind of filmmaker he was after Blue Velvet and enjoyed that but I tried but couldn’t fully enjoy Eraser Head but this was something I can’t explain. I will have better more direct things to say after another viewing. But for the moment I’m grateful I found this.
