Ain’t no way my prof has the opportunity to show 100+ students the incredible medium of Japanese horror and assigns us to watch one of the most generic and cheesy horror films I’ve ever seen The scares and twists this film try to accomplish are so formulaic and cheesy that they’re commonly done in parodies at this point. Genuinely a disservice to Japanese horror to use this to introduce/teach the genre
