Star Wars

A New Hope is a lame name btw. Also I'm going to discuss the original version not the stupid CGI re-release(s). It's where it all began and I think its great. Yea there are apparent flaws but its a masterpiece to me because of the sentimental value it holds to me. If you watch this with the time period and that you know nothing about the Star Wars timeline it is amazing, same with the next two movies. The characters are all good, every single character is someone's favorite Star Wars character (probably). The worldbuilding is incredible, the pacing is great, in the re-releases the pacing gets ruined but the original does it perfectly. It has a perfect flow of information to everyone and nothing becomes to confusing, the plot is simple and the characters make decisions that drive the plot, instead of the other way around which is not represented in the prequels, that was my biggest issue with them. The acting can 100% be better and I understand people who point out the flaws with the Empire, the lightsaber fight but I can look past it because of how perfect it is in my eyes. That is why I give it 5 stars because of its impact on me as well as its inspiration for the creation of the entire saga, even if all the movies aren't equal in quality. I can't wait for Empire.
