The Batman

🎖️ | Favorite Films | I’m sorry but this is just peak and better than the Dark Knight. It oozes with so much style and substance, it has that sauce that Nolan can’t capture. The brilliance of Robert Pattison has him as my favorite live-action Batman, he has an actual arc and he equally is able to represent the struggles while also being mostly competent also, he doesn’t kill anybody. This is also the first Batman movie where I actually cared about Selina as a character and it makes the moments so great between them. The pacing is also amazing, a 3 hour movie that basically flies by, it reminds me so much of LOTR because I just want to see this world that Matt Reaves created more, I want to be fully emerged in his vision. Thats why The Penguin exists but I never finished it and I might just have too. Lastly I was going to touch on Bruce Wayne as on my first viewing I didn’t really like Pattinson’s take on the caped crusader, but I do think it is better than previous. I like the edgy style he brings but this only works if he evolves in the next movie and we get closer to his. I am not going to go into Collin Farrel and Paul Dano because they are just incredible as well as the side cast.  I noticed a few gripes than my first watch like just how dark it is, Gotham looks incredible and I love how beautiful this movie looks but sometimes it is too dark. Also there are a few inconsistency with the story and Batman can be kind of dumb sometimes especially in a story that is suppose to be grounded but it doesn’t distract me from just how good this is. My favorite Batman movie to date and I need this sequel to drop, I want it soooo bad. This movie is almost perfect for me and I enjoy every second which is why it is an easy 5/5 for me.
