Technically, this isn’t the greatest movie ever, but honestly I don’t care because this movie made me feel something and I was completely into it. I loved the acting, the relationship between Caythlin and Matt, and the casting for Matt Hagen was perfect. I just wish we got to spend more time with him before the incident because I felt like it happened pretty fast. The final scene in the club was exceptional. The editing and the transitions between all the different people were incredible. I was watching it like damnnn, this guy is too good. He’s finally getting his revenge and I was fully invested. Gotham City looked great, the soundtrack was good, there were some really suspenseful moments, and some parts were so nasty that they genuinely made me make faces. I’m really happy Clayface finally got a live-action movie because it was absolutely worth it. Cool, entertaining and emotional. I had such a good time with this. Absolutely loved this

Good movie, I had a really good time with it. De Palma once again shows how good he is. This movie is so stylish and cool, and the whole idea is honestly completely insane. It’s such a De Palma movie, you can immediately tell it was made by him. It was also my first time seeing a young Michael Caine in a movie, and I thought he was really good. The story was good, the suspense worked, and I definitely didn’t expect it to go in that direction. There are some similarities with Blow Out, and obviously this isn’t as good as Blow Out, but I was still interested and completely into it the whole time. I also really liked the way the lighting was used. Good movie

This movie was insane. It was so intense I didn’t even feel the time pass. That first chase was crazyyyy, just nonstop action. At first I thought it was going to be some weird movie with weird people in a weird world, but after a while I started finding my bearings and understanding what was happening and where the story was going. The movie is also beautiful. The color grading is insane and the action scenes are incredible, you’re completely immersed in everything happening. I also really liked the relationships between the characters, seeing how they developed throughout the movie and how the characters themselves evolved too. Honestly everything was good: the editing, the shots, the colors, the story, the action and the acting. There were basically no slow moments at all. This is definitely a movie I wish I could’ve seen at the cinema.

What an excellent film. I was completely invested from beginning to end and had such a great time watching this. The story is really well written, and I loved how the mystery unfolds. It kept me interested the entire time, and there were some moments that genuinely caught me off guard. The filmmaking is exceptional, especially for a movie from 1949. The editing is fantastic, the cinematography is beautiful, and there are so many great shots throughout the film. The streets of Vienna, the shadows, the tunnels, everything looks so stylish. I especially loved the chase through the sewers near the end. Such a great sequence. The acting was excellent across the board. And the soundtrack is so weird in the best way possible. It’s almost goofy and casual at times, which feels so strange for a movie this serious, but somehow it works perfectly. It gives the film so much personality. I genuinely don’t have much to complain about. Just a really well-made, captivating film that I’m glad I finally watched.
