A Clockwork Orange

Could’ve been a 5, but I felt the ending dragged on a bit too long. It could’ve ended earlier and been perfect. With that said, what a weird, interesting movie. I really liked it. Malcolm McDowell gives a phenomenal performance. The acting felt theatrical at times, but I didn’t mind it at all. I liked the contrast between Alex in the first half of the movie and Alex in the second half. The film was funny at times, but also very disturbing at others. Kubrick is clearly a genius, but he’s also completely insane. I loved the music and especially the fight scene at the beginning in the casino. Weird movie. Weird experience. Glad I watched it.
