Superman

this was so FUN!! i got to turn my brain off and watched superman BE SUPERMAN!  this is superman and i’m so glad that james gunn was the one to do it. lex was evil as hell and they didn’t give him any sympathy or redeeming qualities. he showed his intentions from the start and he’s such a piece of shit fueled by hate. david corenswet was truly made to portray superman and i love that he took the christopher reeve route of distinguishing clark kent from superman. this movie showed that also at the end of the day, superman IS clark kent. he’s fueled by wanting to do good because he loves humanity and the world he grew up in. such an amazing foil to lex luthor.  also it helps to be engaged to a journalist because she loved lois lane in this. 🥰
