Fishing with John

ep 1: for some reason i thought jim would be excited to go fishing, but the fact that he wasn't made me love him so much haha also, having watched the full ep really adds to this ep 2: tom being the worst fisherman on this show is exactly what i expected and exactly why i love him. (also tom in shorts??) at the beginning of the episode: tom: i get in places like this and i could disappear and never be heard from again at the end: tom: i dont know why i ever let you talk me into doing this. it's the most absurd thing i've ever done in my life john: i thought you would like it tom: well you were wrong ep 3: matt was surprisingly patient and silent. actually seems very nice to go fishing with him. he's just someone who takes everything with ease ep 4: ofc willem got the most challenging episode and ofc he knew exactly what he was doing. i think this and ep 2 were my favorite ones ep 5 + 6: "like this couldn't be anywhere but in asia, you know what i mean? or wherever we are, right?" dennis somehow both seems like he has been fishing before but also like he has never set foot in a boat. he just appears to be very out of place but somehow also comfortable. as for john he's the perfect host as in he has no idea what he's doing, but somehow he also knows just enough that it works, and he's got a very calm way of being that makes the show what it is. also the theme song 10/10. i want to be more specific but you really just have to watch it to know what im talking about anyway. these were all some of my favorite people before i watched this and love them even more now
