Look Back
Gut wrenching.
The terrible weight of grief Is too much to handle and the film captured such an horrible and unavoidable experience really well. Sober suffering and quiet pathos.
When we find out what happens to Kyomoto our souls drops to the floor just as the phone did. I Always loved the way Fujimoto draws eyes. The tired look on Kyomoto really made me feel something Deep. The scenes in which the two girls live their best life are, in retrospect, very hurtful. Even though everything on the surface seemed ok, i sensed something.
It's awful to be severed from such a Deep and meaningful Connection and One can only understand Fujino's reaction. A true masterpiece.
