i cant believe an 80 minute dialogue between two people that haven't seen each other in 9 years could affect me so much. the way even after that day when she didn’t show up he still thought about her and even wrote a book about that night they spent together, the way she wrote that song about him, the way she believes she put all her romanticism into that one night in vienna and that now she’s not capable of loving anyone else, that all her love left with him that morning when they parted ways. the way he gave up on the whole idea of romantic love, that he decided to put it to bed that day she wasn’t there. this movie is what love is.
