Alien: Romulus

20th watch This is my 20th and final time watching this movie because the manager of the theater, has banned me from seeing it any more times. But after seeing this 20 times, I’ve realized that this might be one of the greatest motion pictures ever made. Even with the incest, the story, the colors, the lighting—it’s all impeccable. It’s perfect. This is film incarnate. I’ve said before that science fiction peaked in 2007 with the release of Halo 3 and Half-Life 2: Episode Two, but after seeing this, we might be back. David Jonsson, terrific actor. He’s the star of the movie for sure. Cailee Spaeny is great too. She’s a great protagonist—really hot, really cool. I wanted her to shoot me in the face. But David Jonsson—oh my God. There are very few films that I can recite word for word, but this one is up there with Weekend at Bernie’s 2. Fede Álvarez just knows how to tickle my brain when it comes to making movies based on pre-established IPs. I will be buying the 4K Ultra HD DVD of this even though I don’t have a player. I genuinely love this film from the bottom of my heart.P.S. Do you think the alien would be good in bed?
