Good Omens
"and perhaps the recent exertions had had some fallout in the nature of reality, because, while they were eating, for the first time, a nightingale actually did sing in berkeley square. no-one heard it over the noise of the traffic, but it was there, right enough." 🪽🥂
ok, it's high time i make an actual review of this show.
dear GOD i love this show so much. the ending of season 1 is literally one of my favorite endings in anything ever probably– dramatic but true.
my mumsy introduced me to good omens and i was first really hesitant and stubborn about it, but then she told me more about it, and one thing lead to another and i had my own copy of the book and was watching the show with her while working on my stupid science project. this show is literally so important to me and i can't really even pinpoint why- it just is. the humor will never get old to me– can i get a wahoo?– and the show is just so flattering and perfect in like every single way. it makes me so happy every time i watch it or read the book and i really bonded with my mom over it since she loves it a lot, too.
sucks that neil gaiman is literally evil. but terry pratchett's influence shows so strongly even in the show. and david tennant and micheal sheen have some of the strongest energy together ever- i'll never get sick of aziraphale and crowley's little stupid arguments and their dumb apology dance.
to the world!
