Didn’t grasp the idea and theme of the film on first watch but after reading the ending I burst into tears, and for a film to do that it must be incredible. Incredibly beautiful film capturing the essence of childhood holidays and memories too distant to grasp completely, and approaching the solemness of no longer truly having a father in the right way.
