Before Midnight

“I fucked up my whole life because of the way you sing.” I was so thrilled to show these films to my dad because I just knew he was going to love them, however, I didn’t expect him to like them THIS much. We just spent an entire hour talking about the trilogy and what this story meant for him; from the way he saw himself in Jesse, to the way this story was able to capture the complexity in relationships unlike any other. In just that hour, I learned more about him than ever before. And all because of these movies. THIS is all that matters.
