Nowhere

After watching this film now for my third time, I am confident that this is one of the movies I consider perfect. The dialogue and imagery in every single scene is so immersive in this absurd world of abstracted LA adolescence in the 90s. Every scene is beautiful, so many actors that you’d never expect to work with Araki, and the balance in tone between nonsense, hedonism, and pain, creating a harmonious nihilism.
