Phantom Thread
An absolutely stunning film. Has so much at play yet the plot doesn’t feel crowded. The visual imagery is perfect along with the acting and cinematography. I think Daniel Day Lewis’s performance in PT was better than his in There Will Be Blood…ik, controversial. This film is also unsuspecting nor predictable without feeling like every intense or pivotal moment is for shock value. Showcases this feat of PTA’s work where the plot is neither predictable nor so unpredictable that it drifts from reality.
