Sing Sing

“We’re here to become human again.”  Long entry incoming!  Loved it. When I say I love movies, it's because of films like this. AS HIMSELF? AS HIMSELF? AS HIMSELF? brb, crying.  Makes me mad though that this great film, which highlights the importance of art in our community, was. SO. INACCESSABLE! Why was it this difficult for me to find and watch this movie, A24?!? The only reason Sing Sing was on my radar to begin with was as a result of watching Variety’s Actors on Actors with Kieran Culkin and Coleman Domingo (also amazing). Overall, the lack of accessibility surrounding this film’s distribution to audiences serves to contrast the very themes of this story, which is the biggest shame. I'm about to fight someone over it! Despite it all, this is still one of my tops for 2024. Coleman Domingo, the actor you are!  TLDR: See Sing Sing.
