The Proposal

This is by no means a perfect movie. There are a lot of aspects of it that are ridiculous and seem to happen purely to move the plot along. Like the whole faking a heart attack to get a plane to an airport. It bothers me every time that the pilot can just change course because Betty White’s character threatens to call his mom. Surely he isn’t allowed to just do that? There’s a lot of things that are just too convenient. But hey it’s a romcom. And SORRY I STILL LIKE IT. It’s cute! It’s funny! This is a good comfort film. It’s not a work of art or anything, but I like this movie. I especially love Betty White and Sandra Bullocks dynamic. There are some really cute interactions between the characters that always make me smile. No this isn’t the best movie ever made, but I like it.
