Hamilton

Popular for a reason. Lin is great at writing musicals, and though his singing skills are debatable (hurricane is much better when sung by a different actor), his voice as Hamilton has grown on me over the past 10 years of listening to him. The lyrics are clever and well thought out. Lins style of writing is especially effective at points where voices overlap like at the end of Non-Stop. My only complaint musically is that the Adams Administration cut rap should have stayed in but that’s just petty.
