The Penguin

This made me more excited for The Batman Part 2 than The Batman ever did. I left The Batman being satisfied if this was the only movie we got, but I’m leaving The Penguin ACHING for more of Matt Reeves’s Gotham.  It expanded on what makes Gotham such an interesting setting, and why it’s been done over and over.  Colin Farrell was fucking amazing.  Episode four sealed Chistina Millotti as someone I will keeping an eye out for. Rhenzy Feliz brought a much needed warmness to this show as Victor. I will Never forgive Oz.  Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni was just genius.  Speaking of the Maroni’s, making them the persian mob was So Fucking Cool.  The first four episodes are amazing with one and four being my favorites of the show. Five and six drug their feet a little bit. Seven brought it back, and eight just made me want to sleep until October 2, 2026.
