MY VERY FIRST ENTRY!!! I watched this on easter Sunday along with my cousin! This series gave me a slow-burn feeling. I wasn't also satisfied with the ending (it was like a cut, tbh). Overall, this hit me really hard out of all the series I watched in my entire life. It gave me a new perspective toward others, and I fr will forever remember that even the closest people I knew may be going through and fighting off their demons alone. Danny could be someone who could accurately represent my current state (firstborn, asian, and trying to get his shit altogether). LMAO. Anyway, I liked that part when the fight started off really petty, and things escalated quickly, haha. I expected Danny to disappoint me (e.g., kissing/having sex on the first episodes). IM NOT JUST INTO THAT... personal preferences, I guess... Considering it, he's just another human being trying to catch another ray of sunlight (I know he's not entirely innocent, he did some other illegal stuff, too, haha). I held back tears when he broke down in the church because I would be doing the same thing sometimes, just not in church. I could relate to Danny when he used the church to make money off it SAHSHDSAH (utilitarianism 4lyf jk). I hope there will be more series like this is the most REALISTIC I've ever watched about facing life, social-economic, and racial issues.
