this shit had me writing paragraphs on reddit. i don't think i've watched a better representation of mental illness in my life. the beautiful cinematography reminds me of plenty modern movies (I watched this right after "the lighthouse" and noticed so many similarities) and captures the eeriness perfectly. The close ups, the intricate angles, everything having to do with the cameras played a major role in telling this story without words.
