Adaptation.

This movie is so layered and so metaphorical in so many ways, I love the complexity. All these existential themes of passion and truth in writing (and in general) are so interesting and emotionally connecting.  Being passionate about something can steer us to be completely different than how we were in the past, but is that just adapting to life or is it the honest truth of what life could be, not what it is supposed to be? I need to rewatch this as soon as I can, and I can tell this will quickly become one of my favorites.
