The Notebook

For fuck sake why’s this so good, waves of crippling sadness followed by total joy. I loved how this story was told so so much, so much more than just a love story, how Alzheimer’s is portrayed was just beautifully sad, how real it seemed really emphasised the devastation of the disease, I felt almost sick by the end. To do this in what should’ve been just a love story is pretty much perfection.
