Rewatching the trilogy w my sister. I forgot how EPIC this soundtrack is

Ok I have a lot of thoughts… **Good: **This film is stunning. Like start to finish each shot looks absolutely incredible. And unbelievable performances out of the two leads. Most of the time I was seriously questing what was real, completely made up, or somewhere in between. These dudes went hard as fuck and it was so fun to watch. **Bad:** Howeverrrrrrr. A lot of that went out the window for me because 1) I can barely understand what they’re saying for like 80% of the film, especially during key moments of dialogue, and 2) WHERE IS THIS GOING!!! I’m not opposed to an “open to your interpretation” thing, but I felt like there were a million pieces to a puzzle, and then it ends, and then it basically expects you to create your own story. Like I’m all for ambiguous endings that keep the viewer guessing, but for me, when the core narrative rests upon subtle clues that come from the perspectives of unreliable characters, its hard for me to sink my teeth in and get a lot out of it. I hope that makes sense. **Overall:** Glad I watched it and such a beautifully shot film. Love the two leads and thought it was hilarious Willem Defoe farts twice before a single word of dialogue is spoken. What a world
