Weapons

Wild and interesting story. Equally engaging, mysterious, and horrifying but didn’t create a typical “all-encompassing-dread” feeling found in other films in the genre (which fit the film well and contributed to my overall enjoyment). The movie never felt like it was TRYING too hard to be scary, it simply let each scene play out, bringing to audience to the brink of discomfort without pushing the envelope too heavily. I will say, mostly satisfying ending but like the very last shot was peculiarly abrupt. All in all, great watch and worth the hype.
