Materialists
Ok just got out of theater and I’m still processing all my thoughts on this film. Bear with me as I write my thoughts on this movie, but first I have to say it was just perfect, and Celine Song has done it again. Was so moved by this movie the entire run, had me thinking and racking my thoughts through out each scene. The soundtrack/score was 10/10 it fit each scene like the songs were written for each specific moment. I felt so encapsulated the entire time. Really has you looking at how bad dating culture has gotten over the years, or even just recently within the last five years. Can we talk about how this movie had me looking within myself so much, oh my god I could break down right typing this out, had me looking at how I relate to different situations or even feelings and emotions through out. This movie has taught me some things that I think deep down I knew but I really wanted to start applying to my life. This is taken from someone else’s review, but I couldn’t agree more… “The ability to give and receive love is the best asset one can possess and give to another.” - @momjeandream on letterboxd :p. Well that’s my review, yes it’s messy, but it’s my complete thoughts and feelings at the moment typed out into this fun little app.
