Alien

I feel like everything that has been said about this has been…said. And despite how much I love this film and how much it influenced me growing up, everyone knows how much of a classic this film is. So I’ll say this: Ridley Scott crafted such a unique, wonderfully atmospheric, extremely tense sci-fi horror classic with incredible characters, an extremely effective anti-capitalism/corporation message, and also just so happens to have one of the best cats to ever grace movie screens.  And maybe, for what it’s worth, that’s all I really need to say.
