Dreams are chaotic, sad, happy, bizarre, and are most of the time our subconscious expressing our deepest desires or feelings in a way that we couldn’t merely express with words. ANIMA is the perfect artistic interpretation of this, and mixed with Thom Yorke’s incredible soundtrack, it truly perfectly encapsulates the dream like experience in a way I haven’t seen many (if any) other films do. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go cry myself to sleep now and leave this reality for a bit.
