Sex sells One of the things you cannot escape in your life is sex. All over cities young girls and men are surrounded by sexualization day by day. In commercials I’ve been seeing these stupid Adam and Eve sex toy commercial on public television. In school basically all of my “friends” talk about is sex and how fat someone’s ass is to the point of exhaustion. On the street I see girls wearing very “questionable” clothing like for fucks sake I even saw a furry out in public wearing a chain around his neck on Halloween (wish I was joking)  Even in my own mind I cannot escape it. It’s like a random voice in my head that I have to snap out off it drives me nuts. And I’m sure you definitely have those moments.  This is what Carole through out the whole film is trying to escape. She is always followed by the same man who wants to basically own her.She is frustrated by her own lack of knowledge of it.  She runs and runs away but his hands keep reaching for her. Even if she got rid of him a new man steps into his place. This fear of sex and men builds up and up until she snaps 🫰and ends with a very ominous conclusion.  This film is about sexual trauma and the sexual drive in people how that can affect you in every day life and dehumanize you.  Sex will never go away because it’s built into you and me.
