Star Wars

Disney+ Cut (125m) So, this rewatch got interrupted with a rewatch of the first season of Stranger Things (for a project I'm doing) and then my first watch-through Breaking Bad (I'm currently on S1E6) but man, oh man, I can't stress enough how underrated this film is. I mean, everyone loves it, yeah, but, like, it's as close to perfect as this franchise is gonna get. The cinematography is splendid, the music is John Williams (need I say more?), and the editing is flawless; the "Trench Run" sequence is utter perfection. The performances are exactly what they need to be; everything is just right. See, I guess, I'm a casual fan of Star Wars and this is why. And what I mean by "casual fan" is that I've watched the films and ridden the rides (well, two of them: Star Tours: The Adventure Continues,Smuggler's Run) plenty of times but never have I ever finished any of the Disney+ series other than Obi-Wan Kenobi (which is technically a miniseries), and I probably never will. Anyway, a perfect product of the mastermind that is George Lucas.
