So incredibly self aware, it's so so so smart. It's commentary not only on humans raw primal animalistic nature, but also its depiction of first world values compared to third world happenings. It's criticism on self agrandising philosophical pieces of media of its nature is so brilliantly meta. No better way to watch this than absolutely plastered out of yer fucking mind, as Polanski intended.
