Obsession

I’ve genuinely never seen anything like this. This movie is not only absolutely disturbing, but also tragic. Everything, right from the start felt like it had to end like it did. Ian, giving Bear false advice, cause he had this hook-up thing going on with Nikki. Sarah maybe lying about what Nikki and her have been talking about.  But most importantly Bear. The guy, who didn’t have the guts to tell his crush how he felt. Instead he stripped Nikki of every single piece of willpower she had. Which is especially showcased through the tiger eye crystal. It wasn’t until Nikki gave it to Bear, that absolutely everything was gone. And in the end, after Bear put it on the bathroom counter, not even two minutes later, he lost his willpower, too. And don’t get me started on his behavior the entire movie. He starts off as the nice guy. But he changes through the entirety of the movie. Especially in that scene, where Nikki comes to his front door, trying to tell him, that he didn’t took advantage of her. Or when he forced Wish Nikki to be like the real Nikki. He knew what he was doing. He raped her. He used her. He drugged her, so she would sleep. And whilst doing all that, he had the nerve to not only lie to his friends about Nikki, but also ask Nikki, THE REAL NIKKI, „WHATS SO BAD ABOUT BEING WITH ME“?????? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??? YOU FUCKING REALIZED THAT YOU WEREN‘T WITH THE REAL NIKKI, HALFWAY THROUGH THE MOVIE AND YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO AKS THAT STUPID QUESTION???? He only wanted Nikki Freeman to love him more than anything else in the fucking world and he didn’t do shit to earn her love. Hell he didn’t even know she had a dad, that she didn’t talk to. Oh and don’t forget the first fucking minutes of the movie, where he goes on saying what he likes about Nikki and how he feels and he only names things that she did. Never anything about her personality. Or after that night she watched him sleep. He straight up wanted to tell her how terrified he was and just goes „You‘re so pretty, i love you“ after she kisses him??? DUDE YOU ARE ONE OF THE WORST FUCKING PEOPLE I‘m so sad for Sarah. She never knew, she got accepted.  Or Sandy??? That poor cat would‘ve never, and i can‘t stress this enough, NEVER opened that pill bottle. It happened because Bear is so irresponsible. And oh my god Nikki. Poor Nikki lost her friends, was trapped inside a body she couldn’t control, even though she fought for it the entire movie, woke up from what could’ve been a bad dream, only to realize that everything was real She was raped, used, drugged and stripped of her own willpower. This isn’t a horror movie because it‘s scary. It‘s horror because of how disturbing it was. And more disturbingly was the audience i had to watch it with. People laughed when she got raped. People laughed at the bedroom scene where she watched Bear sleep. I am deeply disgusted by people that find this kind of stuff funny.  But i drifting off. Obsession, i am deeply obsessed with you.
