Django Unchained

This is one of those films I’m gonna have to think about because I am like on the verge of rating this five stars. A perfect western film with some interesting accuracy to the time period. Everything about this film is intriguing; the way Django’s character develops through the story is just so interesting and not something you normally see in film. It all comes together to become to a perfect ending to a heavy, never letting up, masterpiece. I think I’ll end up describing this film is the most badass thing I’ve ever seen. This film is also acting at its finest. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Christoph waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson. All delivered just beautiful performances and in my opinion should be considered as Leo’s best performance ever. The characters in this movie are just so fascinating and that is mainly carried by the acting. Tarantino’s direction here is beautiful; I think this is his best use of blood in a film and a really good demonstration of his ability to make a through and through true Tarantino film out of any genre. Note: yeah screw it. This is a five star film.
