Wicked

HOLY SHIZ! I'm no stranger to Wicked. In fact, it was the first musical I ever saw live, and I cherished that moment for good... This film gave me that euphoric feeling once more, a feeling I didn't think could be replicated ever again. I've waited for this film for 16 years since I ever listened to Wicked, and I am so 'thrillified' to say it was worth the wait. The stars were aligned when it came to this production: the cast (phenomenal), the direction (we love you, Jon Chu), and THE MUSIC!!! I will always have a place for the OBC recording of Wicked, however this soundtrack expands and improves on the original in every aspect. I could dissect the performances and my thoughts on them for hours with nothing negative to say, but I'll spare whomever is reading this. What I will say, my main takeaway: Go. See. This. Film. NOW!! You will not regret it.
