Lady Bird
"Were you emotional the first time you drove through Sacramento?"my god i forget how this movie gets to me. its such a sick feeling that the last time i watched this was when i started high school and now in a couple of months i'll be finished. i wrote in my now 4 year old review that i wanted to go through a coming of age story (and that i really liked the soundtrack). well. i would like to tell 15 year old me that i did in fact grow as a person over these past 4 years (and that i still like the soundtrack). everything has changed. and apparently not everything works out like you imagine it at 15. it all turned out different but i'm still not sure if it's for the better. that's the point i guess. this is 10 times more relatable now than it was before, that comes with growing up. i'll come back and watch this, in a another year or 5, and everything will be different again. the way everything changed this time, next time it'll be more severe i fear. this is another starting point, a new begining one might say. i might even become a functioning member of society by the next time i write about this movie. well anyways. this got me writing serious reviews, won't be watching it again (jk).
#i could see that she got it#but quietly#but we both stayed silent of course#i mean i cried#watched it with my mom as well#that was really sick too
