Phantom Thread

Beautiful beautiful gowns... From the moment we see Alma, there's such a force that moves her. She's a delicate creature, innocent even, but at the same time has a strong character, she stands her ground. She's the main muscle that moves this film to the very end, outstanding I must say. Vicky Krieps is so compelling to watch. I'll even go on to say that she outshines Daddy Day Lewis in some scenes. This is the first time a character in itself has brought me to tears, her performance is beautiful. I'm enraptured by the score, it fills the whole picture sooo well, I'm adding it to my personal playlist hehe. I knew I was going to love this as soon as I started watching, and oh what a wonderful way to end the year, will be seeing this film a lot I feel like... So many things to say about it but can't quite explain my thoughts at the moment, just know it has become one of my favorite movies, thank you very much PTA.
