He creates real characters that make the horrors he puts to screen feel obtainable no matter how large the spectacle, and this film is absolutely a spectacle. Go see it on the biggest screen possible. Another air tight script. Hoyt’s cinematography is what I expected coming from the man who shot Interstellar. The whole cast have stellar performances, but Keke and Daniel truly anchor this movie. Peele captures scenes that you can’t take your eyes off no matter how badly you want to. He is able to put us right in the characters head. One rule. Don’t look up, and yet that is all we as viewers want to do. Peele is a true genius proving it once again.
