Barbarella

Barbarella is a fantastic and fun time. Jane fonda is perfect as Barbarella as she brings beauty , humor and well her natural talents as she is on a mission to save earth and rescue a scientist on a distant planet. Oh and what's not to love eith this movies opening. First I'll say this movie looks great, the costume and set design are through the roof. Barbarella especially has some good costumes in the movie. The music is pretty fun too bringing s relaxing vibe to the movie. Jane Fonda really brings it as Barbarella. Her comedic notes hit every time. She isn't half bad in the action scenes and her interactions with the other characters are just gold. The side characters are pretty fun too from the great tyrant too the angel. All of them bring a charm that just makes this movie more enjoyable. The story is kind of apocalypse now but in space and sexy. It uses its set up well and mixes the space, fantasy and sexy elements well with it. There are some great scenes too like Barbarella overriding the machine, the escape from the matmos snd many more. I just really like the story and how it mixes the elements. It's not the best movie out there but it's a fun one. I had a blast with this one and with the cast and story it's just so charming.
