Hamnet

Well damn that's one way to start my morning. There are alot of movies about grief, loss and love. One of my favorite scenes dealing with death was always Rhett's speech in gone with the wind after his daughter dies. Hamnet is right up there with the last 20 minutes here. Hamnet is a story about love and loss that inspired the play Hamlet. The story is great from beginning to end. I love how it deals with love, grief and how we deal with it. That one scene is just tragic and hard to watch. Jesse Buckley as Agnes kills it and deserves that Oscar. Mescal is great too. But the real deal here are the child actors especially the one for Hamnet because they are amazing. The movie looks great as well. Chloe directs this excellently. The atmosphere is great as well especially how it shifts. After that one scene. Hamnet is amazing and is probably going to get alot of awards which are well deserved. It worth it for that last 20 minutes alone.
