The Nice Guys
Russell Crowe not only has one but 2 movies that should have been franchises. The first is Master and Commander. The other is The Nice Guys. Hopefully one or Hopefully both get the sequels they deserve one day.
The Nice Guys is just a blast. It's fun,entertaining and the chemistry between the leads are top notch. The story is fantastic too. It's just a great time with alot of laughs.
The best part of this movie is Gosling and Crowe. Their chemistry and dynamics make this movie. Each scene with them together is a treat. Margaret is a blast too. Her scene explaining everything got me laughing so hard. Angourie Rice is a treat too and her scenes with Ryan Gosling is sweet and funny. All the cast just bring it and their characters are fun as hell.
The story is cool too. The 70s were a perfect time for the story as they explore who is behind the conspiracy. Each scene leads to interesting discoveries and a great action moment at the end. Its just a awesome story with a good ending that left me wanting more. So whoever didn't approve the sequel why ?
The movie and direction is good too. I loved the 70s look and environment. The billboards, cars and background was just cool. Shane black directs it well too. The ending action scene was exciting. The investigation felt natural too.
The music was good too. The gags had me laughing out loud each time. Every technical detail was just cool.
The Nice Guys should have had 2 sequels by now. It's great and alot of fun with tons of charm. It's well worth a watch I just wish there was more.
