I'm Still Here
Well this movie was definitely a masterclass in what it set out to do which is to tell the story of a family who not only persevered through the dictatorship of Brazil but also capitalized on the effects that they had to deal with in order to foster change among there society. I thought pretty much everything about it was phenomenal. Even through period pieces about war through this lens generally isn’t something that I watch a lot of I thought this one was special. Unfortunately the only time it was showing was at 10:30pm so towards the end at around 12:30 i was dozing off. So definitely might have to be soemthing i revisit in the future.
