Perfect Blue
This film left me with a felling I can not describe. Half of the scenes make you fell uncomfortable and fascinated as to what is going on in Mimas head. The "rape" scene is some of the most intense and impactful story telling I have seen in my life. The incite it gives you into her psyche is insane. The chill it sent though my body when the yells of the male actors fade into the cheers of a crowd of her fans. Insanity. that moment of seeing her cope in that way was what changed me from watching the movie as an outsider into some one who truly cared about Mima. The art is beyond beautiful. The OST is absolute heat. A twist that is unexpected but when you think back makes you think "how did I miss it " in the best way possible. There is not a waisted minute in this masterpiece. Will recommend to any and every person I can. We are NOT going to Mimas Room.
