Possession

Perhaps the realest love story ever told. The loss of love and how it changes you and its impact on everyone in you orbit. It is hard to put into words just how (not using lightly) profound this movie is. It's not telling you anything you don't already know, but making you think about what you knew from different angles. The last 15 minutes are just amazing. Just the visual of how a past relationship (especially a divorce) changes you and you bring that with you to every new relationship and you can't ever truly be the same you as before. The acting was sooooo next level. Adjani put on what may be one of the best performances i've ever seen. Sam neil is also amazing. The atmosphere and feel for this movie where off the charts and just something you don't get nowadays. The "possessor" was so very chilling. Every seen with it was just horrid fascination.
