Watchmen

‘You can’t heal under a mask Angela, wounds need air’ I’m not usually easily drawn in by superhero/comic based entertainment - be it films or tv but this was different. Yes it hit all the spots with the action scenes, the ensemble cast & masked hero’s but driving force behind this show is racism and it’s effect on the lives of the characters. So brilliantly performed and written this had me in from the start but the trauma sharing episode was a real stand out! The performances of Regina King, Jeremy Irons and Jean Smart are all absolutely brilliant throughout! This is TV at its best!
