Arrival

this film was perfectly executed. even though it took some time to fully comprehend the meaning of the plot i have to say it is genius. i was weary about the aliens going in but denis hit it out of the park with this one. it explores time and the importance of language. the plot twist at the end revealing that louise can see her tragic future but embraces it with open arms anyways is truly beautiful. the foreshadowing throughout the entire film held so much depth that it could stand on its own so i applaud every person that was apart of curating this masterpiece. will be watching again to take in the story knowing what it all means
