Chasing Mavericks

The live-action Surfs Up(ish) I have been extremely into surfing lately so I'm pretty biased, but I loved this movie. Sure, the dialogue was crappy at times and some scenes were mediocre, but the story was great. It's fairly simple and isn't altogether unique, but as Thomas Foster once said, all stories originate from ones before it. Okay I might be paraphrasing that but you get the idea. It's a feel good (for the most post) true story biopic with awesome surfing scenes. Now I think I'm going to ask for a surf board for my birthday and rewatch Surf's Up tomorrow.
