The Ring

Everytime I watch this one I am just more certain that this is just a perf classic all around. One, such a great opening, and two, while it is pretty lengthy it still uses its run-time wisely I believe because the whole hunt to uncover this tape’s origin is just as alluring to all of us as it is for the characters who i also loved learning about with their broken off relationship and their child to which im rooting for them. The aesthetics of the movie with the rain and the green (though my obsession with the green is 99% nostalgia reasoning) is pretty sick and really makes this movie a cozy watch. Rewatching this made me wanna get a digital camera and do the corny gag of blurring my face then printing them out. I also fucked with Katie’s friend group alot. They looked cool and I wanna be like them and smoke cigs and be like “yeah she watched that tape and died like Tyler did 🚬” Whoever styled the cast here especially Rachel knew what they were doing cause those outfits were cutee. As for THE EDITINGGG with the quick flashes and secretive dead body reveal is just my fav thing about this movie because it adds to the confusion of the whole situation and of course feels more creepy leaving it up to mind. And when we do see the damage its pretty fucking gnarly too but again its done so abruptly it leaves you like a bit whipped.  Martin Henderson is sexxy too love that man.
