Nosferatu

Its hard to think of another film in the horror genre that accomplishes what this does. Cinematography is so damn good, its sets such a dark and gloomy mood for the entirety of the movie. Lily rose depp puts up a preformance that will go down as one of my top 5 this year no questions asked if not top 3. Not to mention Bill fucking Skarsgaard as count Orlak, from the voice to the unrecognizable costume design, that guy can play the fuck out of a monster. I could go on about each character and how amazing the acting is in this movie (Willem dafoe) but I feel like Lily and Bill are the highlights in a grocery list of fantastic preformances. This is how you make a horror film. The cinematography and sound design set the entire mood from start to finish, as all Eggers films tend to do. Robert Eggers is operating on a sick and twisted wavelength that not many directors are and I cannot wait to go watch the Northman.
